Where is Oregon House District 2?

house district 2

One of the tricky things that I have come up against in running for Oregon House District 2:  Where is House District 2??

The Roseburg area is actually split into 3 different house districts.  So as I am out knocking doors, one street will be in my district and the next will not.

And this isn’t just confusing for me, it is confusing for you too!  I’ve met numerous voters who do not know who their representatives are or which district they are in.  Let’s clear that up.

Where is House District 2?

House District 2 covers

  • South Roseburg and some of Roseburg north of Hwy 138
  • Green
  • Winston
  • Myrtle Creek
  • Riddle
  • Days Creek
  • Tri-City
  • Canyonville
  • Glendale
  • Azalea
  • Wolf Creek
  • Merlin

There are actually not really very good maps of the districts but you can head over to the Oregon Legislator Lookup page to enter your address for legislator information.

Meeting the Challenges of the District

We are a large district with a large variety of issues but as a legislator my job is to give everyone a place at the table.  The issues in Roseburg will are different than those in South Douglas County and those will be different than those for Josephine and Jackson Counties.

I will work hard to represent EVERYONE in this district.  We can all work together to make our district better.

When the Campaign Trail Gets Hard, I Remember Why I Started

I’m tired. Really tired. And I’m quite certain I haven’t eaten anything today. But I did have coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. And I knocked on doors in 100 degree heat. And attended a meeting and an event. And revised my voter pamphlet statement three times. And shuttled my kids back and forth to […]
